By combining fishing with materials and stories derived from the lake, I am investigating anthropocentrism - the ruler of the lake. Through placebased interactions and a phenomenological approach I went trolling with Vänervård and visited one of few professionell fishermans left, where the profession have been passed down for generations.

Theese works were a part of the artist in residence "På väg 45" in Åmål, 2024 . Åmål Art Gallery functioned as my workspace, open for the public to take part of the work-in- process and to share their own fishing-stories. The stories ended up in a performance by the ”Sjörå/Mistress of the Lake”.

"På väg 45" is a residency collaboration between three municipal art galleries, Trollhättan, Åmål and Vänersborg.
